XT22 Laser transmitter
Part no: 12-1273
For measurement of flatness, straightness, squareness and parallelism. The laser beam can sweep 360° with a measurement distance of up to 40 metres [130´] in radius. In addition, the laser beam can be pointed perpendicular to the laser plane.
- Versatile mounting options
- Operating time up to 30 hours.
Long range 360° laser
The transmitter projects a laser beam that sweeps 360°, with a measurement range of up to 40 metres (130 ft) in radius. The laser head is very stable yet easy to rotate, with no locking or unlocking screw required.
The laser beam can be pointed perpendicular to the flatness plane, within 0.01 mm/m [0.01 mils/inch]. XT22 has a fine turning mechanism for the laser head with a gear ratio of 1:1320, which makes it super easy to point the beam at the detector also on very long distances.
The fiber-coupled laser creates an extremely smooth laser beam profile, free from reflections and irregularities. This means that the laser beam will have very good optical properties in terms of straightness (± 0.003 mm [± 0.12 mils]).
Wireless feedback
The XT transmitters have wireless connection to the XT Alignment App. During measurement the app provides warning messages if events occur that may affect the result, for example if the transmitter position has changed or if there are temperature changes inside the unit. The app can also guide you step by step when calibrating the levels before measurement.
Electronic levels mean benefits
The benefits with electronic levels over analogue ones are many:
- Digital readout (in the app or in the built-in display) means the accuracy will not be affected by user interpretation or possible bad ambient lighting.
- Electronic zeroing eliminates the cumbersome work caused by manual set up and associated errors that can follow.
- The electronic levels stabilize faster, resulting in a better user experience and quicker measurement jobs.
Versatile mounting options
The three super magnets can be mounted in many different positions on the transmitter, making it possible to also place the transmitter on a small surface, when needed. The Multi-bracket (included) provides a lot of extra, versatile mounting possibilities, for example mounting on tripod, magnet bases, or rods to elevate the transmitter.
Product details
A. Super stable rotatable head, still easy to turn. No need for locking/unlocking screw. Two apertures. B. Super fine turning of laser beam head. Simplifies beam positioning to detector on very long distances like the 40m [132’] maximum. C. Charger connection D. Tilt adjustment (x2). Tilt table with large adjustment angle, ±1.3° (±23 mm/m [±23 mils/inch]). E. Release lever. Also for dampening the strong magnet force when placing the transmitter on the surface. F. Fastening of separate magnet bases (x2). G. Flippable angular prism. Provides a laser beam perpendicular to the flatness plane. H. Solid aluminium core ensures rigid design. I. Marking for every 45°. For quick rough alignment. J. M6 thread (x4) for safety strap screw and other accessories/adaptations. K. Countersunk profile for fingers, for better grip when lifting the transmitter. L. Super magnets (×3). M. Rubberized grip surface. N. Square design makes it easy to position in a corner of an object, it also clearly indicates tilting angles and simplifies calibration. O. Clear TFT colour display. On/Off, Change display view.
