Optimize production using laser

The machines that are used in the automotive industry have the same requirements for correct set-up and alignment as other industries in order to guarantee reliability and productivity. This is ensured by Easy-Laser's measurement and alignment system.

Foundations and machine frames

What you place your machines on is the foundation for reliable operation. This applies to all machines listed below. Foundations, machine frames, and related structures should be aligned straight, flat, and square. This can be verified using systems such as the Easy-Laser® XT770 Shaft+GEO.

  • Hydraulic press machines
Alignment ensures that the tool halves are plane parallel, allowing them to meet correctly over the entire surface.
  • Edge presses and bending machines
Checked for straightness and parallelism to ensure consistent bending results and reduced wear.
  • Engine test benches
Engines are run in test benches during development and commissioning. Electric motors often operate at much higher speeds than combustion engines, placing higher demands on the alignment of the test bench structure.
  • Machine tools
Read more about machine tool alignment.
  • Industrial robots (welding, painting, cutting, material handling, etc.)
Accurate operation depends on a stable installation to ensure repeatable and controllable movement.
  • Conveyors
Must be installed straight, flat, perpendicular, and parallel to ensure smooth operation and reduce wear.
