The Easy-Laser® XT915 Flatness measurement system is designed primarily for measuring flanges, such as wind tower flanges and slewing bearings. It can also be used for other types of flatness measurements.
XT915 is particularly suitable for wind tower manufacturers looking to speed up production while maintaining precise measurements. Complete documentation is provided as part of the process.
Its predecessor, the Easy-Laser E915, has been used for many years by major wind tower manufacturers worldwide.
Fast measurement with spinning laser
The XT21 laser transmitter has a motorized laser head that rotates continuously to create a laser plane over the measurement surface. You can measure at distances of up to 12 m [40'].
The three rough alignment targets make setup straightforward. Once the transmitter is ready for measurement, simply move the detector to each measurement position and record the value. The Flange flatness program clearly guides you through every step of the measurement.
Designed for accurate positioning
The included flatness bracket is operated with one hand for a quick and efficient measurement procedure. Its detector probe provides more precise positioning of the measurement point compared with a standard magnet base.
If you need even higher precision, longer measurement distances or additional geometrical measurement capabilities, consider the XT920 Geometrical system.
