Easy-Laser alignment tools at Maintec

At the exhibition, we will demonstrate our versatile range of laser-based measurement and alignment systems for rotating machinery. With these tools it is possible to perform all important steps of machinery installation: measurement of foundation flatness and level, soft foot check, and shaft alignment. It is also possible to measure dynamic movement to detect any external forces that may affect the installation in a negative way. The measurement results are automatically documented in the free app, which can be run on virtually any Android or iOS device, or the rugged Easy-Laser tablet.

As part of the event, Roman Megela, Senior Reliability Engineer at Easy-Laser, will host a workshop titled “Road to reliability – How to flatten the infant mortality curve”. Roman has more than 20 years of experience in the assembly, commissioning, and service of gas compression systems worldwide. He is now on a mission to teach and train in reliable procedures for machinery installation and precision maintenance practices. The workshop will provide valuable insights into the importance of proper installation procedures and how to achieve reliable operation of rotating equipment.
