Shaft V-bracket
This is the standard bracket you’ll find in all our shaft alignment systems. It mounts easily on the shaft or coupling and fits diameters 20–150 mm [0.8–6”].
The V-bracket is a versatile choice that fits most shaft alignment situations.
Thin shaft V-bracket
When space is limited, for example between the coupling and the machine housing, this thinner V-bracket version (12 mm [0.47”]) gives you that extra bit of room you need.
Offset bracket

When machine parts get in the way and you need extra space to rotate the shaft, the offset bracket does the job. Simply attach it to the V-bracket (forward or backwards pointing) for extra clearance; it can displace the sensor axially by 50 mm [2"] in either direction. This bracket is included as standard with the XT770 system.
Magnet base

Strong, flexible, and easy to work with. The magnet base has a holding power of 800 N, three magnetic sides and many optional support rod mounting options. The On/Off switch makes repositioning quick and safe. Ideal for large diameter shafts or coupling hubs, and also useful for flatness and level measurements. It’s part of the XT770 system, and a version with a rotatable head is available for geometrical measurements.
Magnet base mounted directly on the coupling. Here you also see the offset bracket and magnetic bracket used together. Only your imagination limits how the different brackets can be combined!
Magnetic bracket

Four powerful magnets make this bracket quick to attach directly to a flange or coupling. Our most purchased accessory bracket, and we understand why – it’s ideal when you want a solid, stable setup in seconds.

Magnetic brackets are easy to attach to the side of the flange.
Sliding bracket

Sometimes you can’t rotate the shaft, and that’s when the sliding bracket comes in handy. Its spherical feet let it slide smoothly on the shaft, and you can adjust the foot positions to fit different diameters. The four contact points with the shaft minimizes errors that can arise from shaft surface imperfections. Use it with the standard chains.
Cardan bracket kit

When aligning cardan or offset-mounted shafts, you remove the shaft itself and instead mount the measuring units on special cardan brackets to measure the shaft positions. This kit can handle machine offsets up to 900 mm [35”].
The cardan bracket kit can be used with any dot laser system.
Dynamic Measurement (DM) bracket

A dynamic measurement is a test to make sure your equipment remains free from stresses such as thermal expansion and pipe strain. The DM brackets are used in combination with the EasyTrend program, and enable continuous monitoring of machine movement during operation. This gives you valuable insights into how dynamic movements affect alignment during different operating conditions. The articulated arms allow for the sensors to be aimed at each other even around obstacles.
Dynamic brackets should be placed as close as possible to the shaft’s rotational centerline.
These are just a few examples from our extensive range of brackets for shaft alignment. Whatever your setup looks like, there’s a solution that fits. You’ll find the full assortment in our product catalogue.
